Every child has a story worth blooming into.
BloomHaus Preschool is a warm, home-based classroom in Hockley, TX where children ages 3–5 learn through play, curiosity, and everyday adventure — and grow confidently kinder-ready along the way.
About BloomHaus
BloomHaus Preschool was created with a simple vision: a warm, nurturing home where children feel safe, loved, and inspired to learn through meaningful play, exploration, and everyday experiences.
BloomHaus began from a deeply personal dream. As both an early childhood educator and a parent, our director wanted to return to a more family-centered way of life — one where she could be present at home with her own child while continuing to do what she's most passionate about: helping young children discover a lifelong love of learning.
"Just as flowers flourish when given the right balance of sunshine, nourishment, and care, children thrive when they are surrounded by love, encouragement, and meaningful learning experiences."
We believe children learn best through play, hands-on experiences, and positive relationships. Every day is thoughtfully planned to support the whole child — never rushing childhood, but embracing it.
Meet the Director
Founder & Director, BloomHaus Preschool
I have five years of teaching experience in public schools, where I had the privilege of helping young learners grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Those experiences strengthened my understanding of child development and reinforced my passion for providing children with a strong foundation during their earliest years.
As an educator and a parent, I understand the importance of finding someone you trust to care for and teach your child. My goal is to build meaningful relationships with each family through open communication, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to every child's success. I believe parents are a child's first and most important teachers, and I love partnering with families to support growth both at home and at preschool.
It's a privilege to be part of your child's early learning journey — I look forward to supporting your family as your child grows in confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Helping With Separation
It's common for children to cry, hesitate, or hold tightly during the first days — that's a normal part of adjusting. You can help by staying calm and confident at drop-off, trusting the process, keeping goodbyes short and loving, and sharing what makes your child, your child. Children adjust more quickly when they sense their family feels confident too.
Please note: children must be fully potty trained before their first day, able to use the restroom, wash hands, and manage clothing with minimal help. Occasional accidents are handled with patience — please provide a labeled change of clothes just in case.
What to Bring Daily
Please label all belongings with your child's name. Choose comfortable clothes ready for play, painting, and outdoor fun.
Stories From Our Families
Before opening BloomHaus, Alexa spent five years teaching in Texas public schools. These notes are from families in her classroom during that time — a preview of the same care she now brings to BloomHaus.
Thank you for this year. Thank you for so much love and dedication to your profession. Thank you for loving my son. You will always be in my memory.

We will miss you! Have a wonderful summer!
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You are the best teacher. Our daughter described you as an angel last August. She was too lucky because she met a great teacher! Have a wonderful summer vacation.
